Bhakti Yoga

Philosophy of Bhakti Yoga?
The word bhakti means devotion or love, and yoga means to link or connect; thus, bhakti-yoga is the process of directly connecting with the universal life force. Unlike other forms of yoga that emphasize physical postures or meditation alone, bhakti-yoga involves engaging all of one’s thoughts, words, and actions in devotion.
How to practice Bhakti Yoga?
This involves regular practice of chanting mantras, studying wisdom texts, hearing from experienced practitioners, offering sacred reflections and recognizing the prime mover in all aspects of life. It also includes service activities that foster spiritual awareness. Through these acts of devotion, bhakti-yoga purifies the mind, softens the heart, and reawakens our natural loving consciousness. Ultimately, it leads to inner peace, joy, and self-realization, and clarifies our relationship with the source of existence.
